I actually already showed this to my class. Here is a link to where I put it on our classroom blog last week. My students all loved your son’s shoe! We talked a lot about the number of drafts you did and the different ways you revised. It opened up a lot of great discussion.
What a wonderful video. I have a story like Trevor’s that I’ve been revising…and revising…and revising. I keep working to trace those tangled lines under the soil of the story.
I loved your book and I can’t wait to share it (and this video) with other readers and writers.

My website is imbeded in my schools Los Osos Middle School, Los Osos, CA….I am in the English department!
I have read your book for the past three years! It rocks! I keep relating to it because my husband was Trevor…. he was told my school counselors to find a trade…he would never be anything…. he has been an ER doctor for over 20 years! You can rise above your situation! That’s what I think Trevor teaches my students!
Thank you so much for this great book…..plus great art!!!

Mary, A friend and I have a newsletter that goes out to lots of teachers and librarians. Perhaps I can include a link in our next issue.

Thanks Joyce and Mrs. V. I am starting to hear from other teachers and librarians that they are finding the video to be useful.
