WOW! Hillcrest Elementary School (PA) knocked me out with their enthusiasm and great ideas.
Ms. Toomey, music teacher, led the Select Chorus in a song about my books!
Ms. Falcone and her fourth graders showed me the collaborative journal they started, inspired by my book Please Write in This Book, and I got to add an entry to it!
Delicious lunch…salad with lot of onions! (Ask Mrs. Krusen about this!)
Mrs. Berridge’s second graders wrote amazing thank you letters, and they were delivered to me before I even left the school! You guys are speedy! I loved reading them.
Mrs. Voightsberger’s first graders got to work IMMEDIATELY on writing WOW stories, using a special organizer that Mrs. Voightsberger created after my assembly.
Thanks to reading specialists Mrs. Manaras, Mrs. Johnson, and Mrs. Shaffer for being such wonderful hosts.
