Am dying to get two copies of your book “The Chicken in the Family” and let me tell you why, very quickly. This book is the absolute epidemy of me, the oldest redhead, my sister McKenzie, and my little sister Jenni. The personalities are the same and even the hair color is the same! I laughed my guts out because this is EXACTLY what we used to do, and the outcome is invariably the same. How did you do it?
Anyway, I need a copy to send to each of them. B. Dalton and Barnes and Noble are out!
I love your story. When I read this book at bookstore or school events, I can’t tell you how many people describe their own childhood stories. It was so fun to write. Did you read my dedication? Definitely based on real life (although I was told I was a cow instead of a chicken.) Say hi to your sisters for me!
