The grand finale of the Good Crooks series is being currently offered exclusively as a free audio book by the author in response to the school closures of 2020. The first three books are available in paperback and on kindle from your favorite independent or online bookstore.The Good Crooks series is about twins named Billy and Jillian, whose parents Ron and Tanya Crook want them to be criminals like them. But the twins have a secret: they don’t want to be criminals, they want to do good deeds. Suspicious that Ron and Tanya might have stolen them from their real parents when they were babies, they set out in this fourth and final book to try and find their happy ending.

Started with the 4th book -really held my 8 yr old grandson’s interest. He has also completed one of your writing projects.
So glad. This is my first experiment with releasing a few chapters at a time. There are 21 chapters in book four… so I still have some to go! I hope your grandson keeps reading and writing.
My daughter hated reading until she read Good Crooks. She read the first 3 in a matter of a month. She completely loves them all. We cannot wait until the fourth book is released in paperback. When can we expect it?
Hi! Thanks for the message. I’m so excited to hear that your daughter is enjoying Good Crooks. My original contract for these books was sold to another publisher (this happens sometimes) and the new publisher does not want to publish the fourth book, which is very sad. I loved writing this series and have so many fans who I know would enjoy the fourth book in print. I decided to publish it in audio format and offer it for free during COVID school closures. I hope your daughter enjoys my other books!

Thank you for finishing the series with this audio book! My daughter, Lucy, loved The Good Crooks and was so disappointed when the third and final print book ended on a cliff hanger! We were happy to hear how it all ended and she wishes there was a spin-off series called The Good Deeds. We’re going to try your Lucy McGee series next.
