The life-size drawings of characters from my book Please Write in this Book were a fun surprise. I also loved seeing the drawings of a fifth grade student that were inspired by Invisible Lines. A batch of beautifully written letters by students at Reed were delivered to me before I even left the building! I read every single one on the airplane ride home.
Meaghan Harned at Barnes & Noble did a great job with Reed’s book sale. I hope all the kids have fun reading my books over the summer break.
