Math teacher Mindy LeBlanc had a great idea for a resource for her classroom: a creative writer showing that even writers need to learn math. Here is my video. Teachers, you can pause this video in two places in order to stimulate discussion. Pause it right after I ask: Can you guess why I like small notebooks? Allow your students to guess, and then push play to hear my answers. Next, pause it after I ask: Can you guess what else I put in my notebook besides ideas?
